Our story
Seven years of wild, seasonal flowers on Tib Street
The Copper Bloom is an independent florist run by Meera Kapoor. We buy British-grown stems every morning and design with the seasons, not against them.
That single decision shapes everything in the shop. It means daffodils and tulips shout in spring, sweet peas and dahlias take over the summer benches, and autumn goes over to seed heads, berries and rust — the colours the shop was named for. It also means no two weeks at 14 Tib Street ever look the same.
Since opening in 2019 we've grown into the things Manchester keeps asking us for: wild wedding florals with full venue installs, everlasting dried arrangements, weekly subscriptions for offices and cafés, and a monthly BYO-wine workshop where we teach you to hand-tie like a florist.
Seven years in, the promise hasn't changed — flowers that look gathered from a hedgerow rather than pulled from a fridge, wrapped and ready in 20 minutes.
How we work
Three things we won't budge on
01
Seasonal first
We design with what's at its best right now, not what a catalogue says a bouquet should contain. Your flowers will always feel like the month you bought them in.
02
British-grown
Our stems are bought fresh every morning from British growers. Fewer air miles, fresher flowers, and varieties you simply won't find in a supermarket bunch.
03
Made by hand
Every bouquet, install and everlasting piece is hand-tied at the bench on Tib Street — a little wild, never symmetrical, always one-off.
